Charity is giving somebody something who is in need but without any expectation.
Charity is providing food, Education and fund for Orphanage, Aged care, economically poor countries, Countries suffered from war, natural disasters and many more. There are so many Organisations doing charity for different sectors and differenent purposes.
All of us in this world do charity by one way or the other. As a human being we have a soft heart which aches for somebody for different reasons. We become very emotional especially while watching Television . We see people dying in Natural disaster like Tsunami, Earth quakes, flood, Tornado, War affected country, Remote underdeveloped countries, Air crash, Accidents and many more similar incidents. There are some disturbing incidents when our eyes are filled with tears, heart tears apart. Why is this emotion God has created in us?
That’s LOVE….We feel doing something for those people who have suffered in difficult crisis. This feeling is willingness or thought to help somebody.
Charity is mainly done in three ways.
1.Mentally (willingness to come forward to help at any time )
2.Physically( Helping physically )
3.Financially( Helping with Fund)
Most of us do all the three in different occasions at different times at our priority, nothing wrong. Actually If you see , we are all so busy in our daily routines that we plan one week in advance for the week including going to Sunday mass. How nice it would be if all of us also plan montly once or twice spending our one hour time in helping people in Aged care, Orphange and something similar to this as volunteers.
Most of us answer will be , “Its nice to hear but to do in practical is difficult”. Everybody will have reasons not to do only. But we should also understand that we usually waste time by doing unimportant work , instead if we spend our quality time helping people at Orphanages, Aged care or something similar. How worthwhile is that one hour time? This is not to impress somebody or show off somebody. This becomes your part of charity.
This is physically helping charity.
Think back somewhere you would have helped somebody without expectation . This experience would give you the real happiness and the inner satisfaction in you is “PEACE” .
In this beautiful world, we have many differences in many ways like religion, language, country, rich , poor, dark, white, tall, short, beautiful, ugly, literate, illiterate etc. Instead of making categorised differences among the human community if all of us serve the needy, it certainly makes a HUGE difference.
There are many people who help others consistently, persistently. Imagine if every human on this planet takes one step to help others by sponsoring a child, you are giving a bright future to that particular child. We are creating powerful treasure on this planet. You are financially helping and this is financial charity.
Yes, one day this earth will be HEAVEN TO HUMAN COMMUNITY WITH LOVE, PEACE AND HARMONY.
THERE WOULD BE NO DIFFERENCES AT ALL.
SO LETS PRACTICE LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AND SERVE PEOPLE WHICH IS SERVING GOD.

LIFE'S SEASONS AND REASONS
The journey of everyone's life is like season with reason. Today, I would like to share the story which I got in the mail and it is very meaningful.
LESSONS OF LIFE
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in the summer, and the youngest son in the fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.
He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
Moral lessons:
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come

TRUE COMMITTMENT STORY
Life is not a smooth journey to anyone. It is a journey with lot of struggle. Every stage a persons struggle is different in different circumstances. So one has to overcome all the obstacles, hurdles, disappointments, rejections, failures. More than anything one has to dare to dream, have a will power to commit to the goal and achieve that goal. This is daring to win in life.
Everybody’s lives there are several untold stories. Today, I am sharing you about one of the Most Valuable Person in my life and that’s MY GODFATHER DAD. He has taught the MOST VALUABLE PRINCIPLES IN LIFE to my dearest brother and I, which is followed by us and will be taught to the next and following generations. These valuable principles are the FOUNDATION for our lives and the PRICELESS LEGACY given to us.
My dad is the first man whom I always admire for his life’s achievement. He is a person of Integrity, Values and Ethics. He is a person of commitment. I would like to share one of the incidents which is a learning for everybody.
Dad is the second child in a family of 2 younger sister and 4 younger brothers. He had more responsibilities. Right from his childhood he is been working hard for the family. He successfully completed his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and got into a private company for job. My grandma expired when my dad was in his third year Diploma and he was only 18 yrs old. He had to support the family physically, mentally, financially. He could not afford to join Engineering. He was passionate to do his Engineering. He was 21; He got married to my mom who was 17 yr old. I was born by one year of their marriage followed by my brother by another year.
The family grew bigger. He was sole bread winner of the family supporting 10 people. With all his family responsibilities and other financial circumstances he had to work for over 12 hours a day. He worked as private tutor during weekends. My great mother co-operated those days with my dad. I know these stories from my parents, relatives when I grew up.
Dad joined government service after I was born. He had a dream to continue his studies in Engineering, so he took up Engineering (self study- AMIE).He completed Group A in 2 yrs term but could not complete Group B on time. His family responsibilities increased along with financial burden. He had his 2 sisters to get them married and brothers to educate and his children as well. Apart from working his source of income was only tutoring.
There were times when he was prepared for exams but there were no funds to pay his exam fees. His membership for AMIE was about to expire, again he would renew the membership. He was strong and was motivated to complete Group B. He had a mentor by name Mr. Jayaram. He was a Scientist and he had done AMIE. His mentor was a soft spoken and very inspiring person. He would always encourage my dad to complete AMIE. He used to always say, “you can do and you will do …. God is there”. He motivated and taught him technically as well whenever required. Dad was CONSISTENT AND PERSISTENT in his studies.
Dad successfully completed his AMIE Section B subjects, when I was in year 9. Later on he became Gazetted Officer and now he is a Scientist for the last 18 yrs. The person whom my dad was associated was a Gem of a person. His mentor is retired and has moved to different city. Still our family always remember the mentor and his family for the ENCOURAGEMENT and INSPIRATION.
India as a country is the second largest populated country in the world. There are millions of people with millions of such stories and incidents. As and when we come across with such true stories from anybody and from any part of the world, it’s our attitude (duty) to appreciate the person for his/her achievement in life for the struggle to climb the life’s steep steps.
LET US ALL LEARN COMMITMENT FROM THE PEOPLE WHO WERE CONSISTENT AND PERSISTENT TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL.

THE NATURE OF COMMITTMENT
Commitment is to pledge oneself to a certain purpose. Commitment can be in Relationship, Partnership, Parenting, Family, Friendship, Career, Socialising and Spirituality.
For most important Commitment in life one must be disciplined, dedicated and determined. Commitment is promise making, promise keeping and promise following. If you don’t keep up the commitment its like promise breaking.
Every person has to be committed in one way or the other in every possible area.
For example, when a person gets up in the morning his/her commitment for the day has to be managed accordingly to their priorities.
Your commitment is valued in every step of your life. It could be you as a child, student, an adult, employee, friend, spouse, parent, citizen of the country and many more. As an individual we all have commitment in life. Yes….. For some commitment level is high, for some its medium and few normal level. However, Level of commitment varies from each individual according to their priorities in life.
For example when we were kids, we were committed to studies. Our parents taught us to study well, so that we will be successful professionals when we grow up. So we did. Now when we have grown and as an employee we are more committed to job,
Which is no choice commitment that’s because all of us need money for survival. Do you all agree with me ? In this case, we force ourselves and go to work and earn. But there are other areas of our life that we tend to ignore.
It could be Fitness or Diet patterns, Finances, Marriage, Children, Happiness, Goals, Dreams, Sports, Travelling, Higher education and Community. These areas we do not want to come out of our comfort zone and take responsibility and commit to it. We often look for easy solutions, quick fixes to achieve something. We don’t realise that for anything in life, we got to pay the price first and reap the fruit after some period which is not overnight but with considerable amount of time, money and action.
Commitment comes from your thought, attitude, belief and self decision. When you make any decision in life basically you think: What you want? Why you want? How you want? When you want? What you want is your GOAL, Why is your PURPOSE, How is your PLAN, When is your TARGETED TIME. Once this is crystal clear, you will be seriously committed. Come what may you will achieve what you want only when committed 100%. You get 100% successful result.
Commitment starts from Long term goal .But it has to be divided in such a way that it can be done simpler method which is short term goal to monthly goal to weekly goal to daily goals which are realistic and measurable. Commit your actions everyday, the result would be STUNNING.
As I mentioned earlier, Commitment is a promise. In case, if you are committing to somebody, its always better that you always keep up the commitment or else by giving false commitments, you are creating a bad image of yourself to others.
This particular incident will spread like a wildfire through the wind. Don’t give such chances for others. Be cautious before you commit anybody.

MY TRUE STORY ON COMMUNICATION
Communication Experience in Life
There are many experiences in life. Today I will be sharing the communication experiene. In 2002, I took up ICICI Prudential Life Insurance course to become an Insurance agent. It was about 15 day’s full day course. We had trainers to teach on Insurance subject. There were different trainers for different topics. In my batch we had 20 people with good background like Bank managers, MBA, Business men, working employees, Home maker and many more. All the trainers were ex employees of Life Insurance Corporation. They were well educated and well experienced men and had excellent talent, knowledge and skill to train others.
One among the trainer was Mr.Clifford Martis; he was an amazing trainer who trained his subjects. In one of the class his topic was to train on general skills like Communication, Talent, Motivation, and Passion. He picked up four students and gave each one of them the topic. We were supposed to give the speech on the given topic for 5 minutes. My topic was Communication. This teacher always felt that home maker come to class just by husbands force and not with interest and I was one among home maker group. He criticised me every time but I ignored as usual.
It was the speech day. The speech was in the afternoon after the lunch. Seatings were arranged in semi circle shape. We all were seated. My turn was suppose to be in the end as per the trainer. But he changed the schedule spontaneously and called my name to give speech. I wasn’t surprised because he was always upto something. The trainer asked me to stand where normally he stands to train and he sat.
Everybody was settling down. I looked at everybody’s eyes. All were yawning, giggling, passing comments, absolutely everybody were not comfortable and their body language confirmed me they were not interested.
First thing I asked was Mr. Martis Shall I start. He said yes. I began to say “Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. I thank Mr.Maris to give me an opportunity to give a speech on Communication.
To my surprise the class was pin drop silent. Paused for a while I introduced myself with my background paused and again started with main topic Communication that Communication is to commute (speak or express verbally) to others. It has been categorised in 3 ways and has different tone levels and so on…. Points I spoke is given on Nature of Communication blog.
I was given 5 minutes for the speech. But the speech on Communication went on for 10 minutes. Everybody was interested including the trainer. Before ending the speech, I thanked once again the trainer for the opportunity given and requested him to give permission for another 10 minutes for one important game where the trainer also had to participate. Everybody participated in that game and applauded.
After I finished the session Mr.Martis in front of all other students said that, “You gave an EXCELLENT speech. I under estimated you, I was wrong . You have a very good inborn quality communication skill. I Thanked him for his sincere appreciation.
To get a sincere appreciation from Mr.Martis is not easy as he is an Intelligent, well experienced and always tough trainer in class. He wanted his students to excel in practical. My sincere thanks to him because I never took his criticis in negative way at all. I always took his critics in positive, improved and performed well.
FACE VALUES ALWAYS GO WRONG BUT COMMUNICATION AND BODY LANGUAGE ARE THE TWO ATTRIBUTES WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT AT EVERY STEP OF OUR LIFE AS THIS GIVES THE FIRST IMPRESSION OF A PERSON. FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE BEST IMPRESSION.

THE NATURE OF COMMUNICATION
Communication falls into different categories.
1) Verbal or Para-lingual(pitch and tone)
2) Non-verbal (Body Language)and
3) Feedback.(clarifying the understanding)
Communication also has 3 components
1) Sender (one who talks)
2) Receiver and (one who listens)
3) Medium of communication (media i.e Air, phone, mobile..etc,)
In this posting I am closely looking at Verbal or Para lingual communication. Verbal communication is an Interaction between two persons or between group of people. If one person talks (sender), another person (receiver)should listen, only then we can understand what the other person is trying to explain. Communication is expressing yourself in words. There is a saying which goes like "Communicate to Express and NOT to Impress". Communicating is to ensure that one gets the idea/message across to the receivers end. Communication is about Sender and Receiver being in the same level of understanding, see the same picture.
Communication is the only verbal medium to make others understand. For example when a baby cries, mother understands that baby has need, i.e, hunger or needs attention, that is the baby’s way of communication. Each person has his/ her own style of communicating. We have different set of people with different Accents and different languages. Communication is a mix of pitch and tone of voice and words. When we start speaking our tone is identified on spot.
At different circumstances and time every person react in different tones. For singers we say some singer has a melodious voice , some have metallic voice, few have sexy voice and some horrible voice. That’s basically the tone of voice. The tone of voice is very important in life whether you are singing or just speaking.
Tone of voice is an approach with feelings to the other person. From your tone of voice you will be able to recognise person mood types - angry tone, happy tone, sad tone, jealousy tone, flattery tone, liar tone. That’s why elders teach kids to be polite when they speak to others. So that they follow to be polite in future.
Basic quality, mannerism and culture of a person starts from the way you communicate to anyone and everyone irrespective of what you are. You may be a very famous person who cares - If you do not have basic polite communication skill, you are nothing. Now take any industry without proper communication skill you cannot proceed in any area at all…........thats for sure.
In Hospitality Industry or any other Service Industry this communication skill is most important because the job involves first Interaction and latter Service. We all have seen our Politicians, Models, Film actor and actress,Singers,Dancers,Sports stars, Scientists, Doctors etc. speaking at various occasions. This is communication skill. People are interested to listen to their speech. Thats because the way they speak. We have come across famous Public speakers, Industrialist, Business people-their influence level is high by motivating others. Why? That’s very simple . They all followed A-Z OF LIFE’S basic steps in life to be successful. One among them is communication skill.

There is a saying which goes like "Communicate to Express and NOT to Impress". Communicating is to ensure that one gets the idea/message across to the receivers end. Communication is about Sender and Receiver being in the same level of understanding, see the same picture.
Communication is the only verbal medium to make others understand. For example when a baby cries, mother understands that baby has need, i.e, hunger or needs attention, that is the baby’s way of communication. Each person has his/ her own style of communicating. We have different set of people with different Accents and different languages. Communication is a mix of pitch and tone of voice and words. When we start speaking our tone is identified on spot.
At different circumstances and time every person react in different tones. For singers we say some singer has a melodious voice , some have metallic voice, few have sexy voice and some horrible voice. That’s basically the tone of voice. The tone of voice is very important in life whether you are singing or just speaking.
Tone of voice is an approach with feelings to the other person. From your tone of voice you will be able to recognise person mood types - angry tone, happy tone, sad tone, jealousy tone, flattery tone, liar tone. That’s why elders teach kids to be polite when they speak to others. So that they follow to be polite in future.
Basic quality, mannerism and culture of a person starts from the way you communicate to anyone and everyone irrespective of what you are. You may be a very famous person who cares - If you do not have basic polite communication skill, you are nothing. Now take any industry without proper communication skill you cannot proceed in any area at all…........thats for sure.
In Hospitality Industry or any other Service Industry this communication skill is most important because the job involves first Interaction and latter Service. We all have seen our Politicians, Models, Film actor and actress,Singers,Dancers,Sports stars, Scientists, Doctors etc. speaking at various occasions. This is communication skill. People are interested to listen to their speech. Thats because the way they speak. We have come across famous Public speakers, Industrialist, Business people-their influence level is high by motivating others. Why? That’s very simple . They all followed A-Z OF LIFE’S basic steps in life to be successful. One among them is communication skill.

THE NATURE OF BELIEF
Believing is seeing. How true is this statement for everyone? Normally we have to experience on our own only then we believe. Belief can do wonders in life. Most importantly we should believe in our selves.
All of us in the World believe in God. Everyone has their own style of believing in God. Generally Indian mothers for every occasion we pray God for guidance and protection, especially, when it comes to children. If the child is sick, we smear vibuthi/kumkum /sandal paste on child forehead. This trend is followed through several generations.
Two incidents which happened to my daughter I would like to share with everyone.
First incident, was my daughter at two and half years old. Everyday morning my husband used to take our daughter in our 2 wheeler to nearby Durga temple before going to Office. He used to place the garland on Goddess statue. Perform Arthi and smear kumkum on his forehead and our daughter forehead and both used to be back. So our daughter knew the way to Durga temple very well.
One Friday morning,vshe was playing with her neighbour friends outside home.When her father called her, she told she wants to play. He went alone to temple. That day, he had to purchase Garland before going to Temple .He purchased garland, came to temple, offered god and performed pooja. Meanwhile our daughter stepped in. Temple lady asked our daughter when you came. My husband turned back ,our daughter was standing. He was surprised to see her because. She has come to temple on her own without footwear and the path was stone and mud road. My husband with our daughter came home and narrated the incident. I was at home thinking she has gone with her father. I was astonished. We thanked goddess Durga that our daughter safely reached temple and to us back which is unforgettable.
We always say kids are God. That’s true too.
In another incident my daughter was three plus. Our family, aunty and uncle went to Thirupathi by train. Next day morning when we reached the destination, my daughter was sick .she was puking and had loose motion. We took her to the doctor and gave medicines.
By evening her condition was very bad. Unable to drink or eat, medicine when taken immediately she used to puke .Morning we all had shower and we did not give shower to our daughter, gave sponge bath. She wore langa blouse. Meanwhile, I told my parents that I shall stay back with my daughter at the cottage and they can go for Kalyanostsavam(Hindu religious ritual). At Thirupathi every Hotel room, lodge, cottage rooms everywhere Balaji photo is kept . I gave medicine to my daughter, she was feeling very upset that she and I are not going to Temple. She stretched her 2 hands towards the Balaji photo and loudly calling for venkateshwara, govinda should I not come to your Temple, I want to come and see you. Suddenly she started puking, I got her cleaned and dressed her again. She went to my dad and said,”Thatha, I am alright now, I can come to temple and I wont puke or go to motion in Temple. Govinda has allowed me to come. I was scared to take my daughter since she was sick. She said mummy I am alright let’s go or we will be late. My uncle said I will carry her on my shoulders and asked my parents to sit for pooja without any tension. As we entered the queue. My daughter started chanting govinda, govinda till she reached the spot. She was perfectly alright. This is another incident which is a miracle for us.
There are so many medical miracles around the world in reality. Belief system is across everywhere in every person around the world. Cancer is cured by positive talks and belief. Take any field right from Sports, Academic, Inventions, prayers, everything in the universe works with BELIEF.
We believe that tomorrow never dies …. That’s because at some point of time in life every individual has struggled in a very unique way in every stage. We all BELIEVE that there is HOPE for tomorrow in life.
Take all famous personalities; it could be in sports, film industry, scientist, writers, singers, dancers, doctors, engineers. I mean all kinds of people with their skills have achieved in life because they believed in themselves.
Believing in you is an Attitude. It’s an attitude developing everyday. So believe in yourself and whatever you want to achieve, and you can certainly achieve and you can be what you want with your faith by feeding positively.
Belief is your self-esteem, self confidence, self assurance, talented skill, positive thinking, faith, courage. These qualities we all own it. Why are we still not coming out of the nutshell? We all have the capability to perform well in day to day life in various aspects like family, career, spiritual etc. Use encouraging words for ourselves and make it as a HABIT ……say…I CAN DO IT and I WILL DO IT. Believe me, every person is gifted and blessed with excellent talents, skill and knowledge. We all need the extra NATURAL boost called Believing in ourselves.
Appreciate sincerely from bottom of your heart to everyone for what they are. When you say - you should mean it from bottom of your heart. This encourages or boosts up the persons morale.
Let it not be a fake appreciation or just the LIP SERVICE because physically other person knows you are lying. More than anything God knows our motive and reads our mind very well what we actually mean. You can cheat yourself, your friends, your relatives, known, unknown but there is something called YOUR CONCIOUSNESS AND THAT IS GOD.
WHEN YOU ARE HONEST AND RESPECT ONE ANOTHER - WHEN GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US. BELIEVE THAT WE ARE ALWAYS BLESSED BY GOD.

THE NATURE OF ATTITUDE
From thought it comes to Attitude. Attitude varies in each person at different incidents. Generally we human beings have different feelings at different times with different people.
It all starts from I, you see yourself in others only then you can get along with that person. Your reflection is on that person. In case, you find that some characters of yours are not found in that person, you dislike that person saying I am not like that, you try to highlight your point, you emphasize on that more. This is human tendency. For example our fingers are not of same length but because of various sizes it becomes very flexible for our hand to hold, stretch, make fist.
Same way all of us have different thinking and different views.
We all should understand everybody has positive and Negative weakness. Weakness levels vary in each individual .We always should focus on positive. Everyone’s Interest, tastes, goals, priorities, commitments are different from one another. Each person has their own set of ups and downs. There is no necessity for anyone to comment on that behind. None knows whets the actual truth. Only person who knows is who is involved and God. How is it going to solve by discussing with others behind, passing sarcastic comments or ridiculing. No, this is absolutely wrong. In case, if we would love to do something. Please help that person.
Giving help: give help and do not broadcast your help to everyone. When you help someone, help without expectations and not broadcasting proudly that you helped someone .This is not called help then, a person who helps will always not disclose to anyone. That’s pure help and that is divine help.
TRUST ME YOU WILL ALWAYS GET BACK YOUR DIVINE HELP BY GODS GRACE WHEN YOU ARE IN NEED AND DESPERATE. THIS IS TRUTH.
This reflects to WHAT YOU GIVE ALWAYS YOU GET BACK WITH INTEREST. Every move in life deals with Attitude always is positive attitude .I knows its not possible at all times, but we can try to be ....isn't it?
Positive living helps in every aspect of our lives.
We are so calculative in life, why should I do? No better work? Do they do me anything? Always you take initiative in giving help. But do not let other person to overrule you or take advantage of you. This leads to misunderstanding, spoils relationship. Be careful in what you do. Be compassionate with others.
Most of the times we take help too. We appreciate at that time and forget later. Never ever do that because we should always have ATTITUDE WITH GRATITUDE every time because throughout our life journey, we do take help from somebody or the other. Help that person whenever he or she requires our help most. At certain circumstances you may really not be able to help because of many reason .As much as possible don’t give excuse and try to help. You do help others as well; it could be even a stranger, that’s alright, its ok. WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY. We come across many people in different shapes and sizes, different colours, in day to day life. Please do not criticize them .Accept them as they are. That’s humanity.
When we travel sometimes we come across beggars, abnormal appearances, etc.... Do not frown at them or make faces or teasing them or using rude words yuck and stuff.
Do we know how much that person will feel and he or she will be hurtled? In such occasions, my parents used to say just pray god and request and plead him to help the person you have seen. We all follow in our family .Teach our children also the same. They will observe us and follow. YOU DONT SYMPATHIZE BUT EMPATHIZE.
Attitude plays a vital role in every human beings life at every time. It is anywhere and everywhere - Home, office, travelling, school, airport......heaps of places and situations. I would like to end this with
